Strawberry jam filling
Ingredients
serves 1 cake
- 450g fresh strawberries, stems removed
- 150g granulated white sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Directions
- Add strawberries to a food processor and pulse until puréed.
- In a saucepan, add the strawberry purée, sugar and lemon juice. Simmer on medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes until very thick.
- Remove from the heat and allow the jam to cool completely.
